See the most famous parks in the USA

Aquatica® is one of Orlando's most popular water parks, south of downtown Orlando. In between a full day of fun waterslides and water rides in the 20-hectare park, the incredible Dolphin Plunge® gets the most attention here. It is a waterslide with a transparent tube that crosses a pool full of dolphins.

Universal's Volcano Bay™ water park is one of Orlando's best-known attractions, thanks to the 60-meter conical mountain that can scare you with the noise it makes and releases lava-like fluid at night. This is Universal Studios' first water park, which features a good mix of relaxing rides like a lazy river and wave pool, and more modern, high-speed rides like water roller coasters and dizzying waterslides. Plenty of lockers are available and you can put advance credit on a wristband so you can pay for snacks and drinks throughout the day without having to carry cash around.

Disney's Blizzard Beach concept is pretty crazy and fun: the idea is that the park was a ski resort that melted into a water paradise. The result is a combination of snow-capped mountains and white-sand beaches to relax in the exceptionally warm waters of the "arctic".

A highlight is Mount Gushmore, home to one of the tallest and fastest waterslides in the world. But there are plenty of other less scary waterslides and attractions to keep the whole family busy during the day.

Typhoon Lagoon has around 10 waterslides, including a 2-person float roller coaster, Crush 'n' Gusher. There is also the Humunga Kowabunga, with 5 steep drops, and the Storm and Bay waterslides, which are a little slower and geared towards younger children. In addition, there is a lazy river that loops around the entire park.

However, Disney's Typhoon Lagoon goes a little beyond just waterslides. Surfers will love the Typhoon Lagoon Surf Pool, which generates six-foot waves from powerful underwater turbines. Ticket holders can also swim with sharks, rays and tropical fish at Shark Reef, perhaps the park's top-rated attraction.
